Founded in 2008, by Chairman, Michael Woo, Longfin Investments specializes in creating custom investment vehicles for individuals, groups and corporations. Michael Woo was born and raised in Southern California. He attended and graduated from Torrance High School and San Diego State University earning a bachelors' degree in Psychology and Microbiology. After working for 2 years in clinical pathology and 14 years in corporate sales, senior account executive,at large blue chip companies, Michael Woo founded Longfin Investment Solutions. At a very early age Michael Woo was eager to understand money. At age 8, he inherited a $70,000 portfolio of stocks, cash and mutual funds. From that point on an investor was born. Michael Woo always had a guilty feeling that my Great Grandfather was looking over my shoulder watching how I handled money. Michael Woo would ask his father questions such as what is a stock split that sounds terrible. What is a net operating expense? At age 18 he sold some of the stocks and purchased a car and a college education obtaining double bachelors' degrees. Michael Woo's inheritance grew to 10 fold when he had obtained his securities license 6 and 63, and he started to transact financial planning. Michael Woo taught tax avoidance, and saved over $200,000 in capital gains taxes by incorporating a charitable remainder unitrust with his inheritance.

In 1995 Michael Woo purchased his first property. The money that was used to purchase this property was raised by selling and marketing collectible toys, in 2 years Michael Woo raised $50,000 that was the down payment on the first property. This was just the beginning, from that point on Michael Woo has transacted over 35 real estate transactions mostly buy, rehab and sell, wholesale, commercial, rent and hold. Longfin Investment Solutions is the company that Michael Woo created and focuses on increasing financial intelligence for partners that choose to improve their lives. Michael Woo is dedicated to leading others in making them a better person and improving more than they could have ever imagined. Michael Woo teaches classes on positive cash flow turnkey investments. In February 2010, Michael Woo was honored as the recipient of Rich Dad education's Hall of Fame award and was presented by Rich Dad Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki.

We chose the name Longfin Investment Solutions to commemorate the fisherman's special name for the Albacore. Albacore's are renowned by sportsmen all over. They are a much sought after game fish whose attributes of being fast moving hunters who operate together schools to achieve their goals. In addition, as any fisherman who's had a "longfin" on the line will tell you, an Albacore is a great fighter!
