Define your Passion

Often times I get approached by new investors that are desperate. I get told that," I just spent my life savings on real estate investment classes and I don't have any money. I have no cash flow because I lost my job and I have no money left or credit. I do have time and I am willing to do whatever it takes to be a successful investor". This story is common and it is told to me several times a week. They pursue properties and think that the deal will make them rich. They want to wholesale because they believe that the great deal will bring them happiness. In today's economy deals are everywhere. Largely most of these people will work at something for about 3-6 months and nothing happens. I hear that I did not make any money so I moved on to the next get rich quick idea that someone pitched them for some MLM. Real estate is an illiquid business and is attractive to the DNA fiber of everyone so everyone wants to be a star in real estate. It's a slow prodding process and it's really not for everyone. You have to run a real business and anyone that tells you that anyone can run a real estate company is definitely magnifying the positive. Just because you were dynamic in marketing, sales, accounting, engineering, president or janitor does not make you a successful business owner. The skill sets for employment is greatly different than being an investor or business owner. Business owners are the technical support, the account payable, the purchasing, the marketing, the sales, the leadership they are everything to a business and most people are not fit in this line of work. So often people look for the easy way out they try to leverage other people's mind, resources, cash, time into their own agenda, without producing anything real. The key to being successful is not a desperate need for money anyone can find an expert at being financially unfit. In every business transaction we always take the high moral ground and define your value. All of these people need to define your purpose and stop looking for a deal to save you and instead look at the people. Let your passion define your purpose.

Case in point Aidan Dwyer, a 13 year old kid http://www.marketwatch.com/story/big-gateway-pipeline-hearings-starting-in-bc-2012-01-06 that has made some astute observations in solar energy. His family had expressed an interest in solar energy and this impassioned youngster made a novel observation beyond his young age. While on a vacation with his family, he noticed that the position of tree branches were aligned to maximize photovoltaic energy. If nature has been doing this since the beginning of time why not copy them? It's very much related to the movie the 1980's movie Sean Connery, Medicine Man. This movie finds a cure for cancer in the jungles of South America by isolating rare plant materials. Or for that matter the team of researchers isolating chemicals in sharks that prevent them from developing cancer. Aidan is creating quite a controversy the "experts" are refuting his claims and data. There really is nothing better than beating up on a 13 year old kid! You have to think that there is a level of jealousy that a 13 year old kid gets on the news while the "experts" that have been working on this all their lives are desperate just to keep a J.O.B. (Just Over Broke). If you are creating controversy that is good, it is part of the process and evolution of defining your passion. There will always be critics and scams that are always trying to tear you down in order to make themselves feel valid. That is also part of the human DNA fiber.

I am sure that most of you know my passion it is helping others to actualize their goals in life. At the core of this mission is the creation of improving the lives of others. My formal education was in clinical pathology so naturally I have an interest in medicine. Young Aidan fascination with sunlight is very much related to my own curiosity in photo energy curing our greatest medical problems. UBI, or otherwise known as Ultra Violet Blood irradiation is a method that cleanses and purifies the blood and has been documented with tens of thousands of research articles proving that this process has improved the lives of many people and in often cases put cancer into remission. This process became popular when people were successfully treated in the 1940's. UBI has been known to help strengthen the immune system and increase oxygen content in the blood.

People are so desperate for money today that they lose track of their identity. Typically people work a job each day and live without purpose. They are working to survive and not move beyond their average lifestyle. If you want to do extraordinary accomplishments then you need to find a motivation beyond fear based desperation. I have always been a great fan of creating a base and identity to build on, and defining your purpose is one of the most important aspects to achieving that goal. We all need to reach beyond normal and obtain something larger more powerful. No one will want to do business with anyone that is desperate and has a low Financial Fitness. We all want to ride a strong horse. Part of this mindset is developing what you are doing on a daily basis. So many times people identify their job as who they are, when in fact the job can disappear in an instant, leaving a deep emotional scar. Defining your purpose creates your identity, and gives you a motivation beyond desperation. Don't rely on a job to make a living or provide an identity. Increase your own Financial Fitness by creating an identity for yourself.
